Amys in the Arts is Growing

Recently the Amys in the Arts Etsy Team has added several new members. It's so great getting to know new team members and coming up with fun ideas as we each try to grow our business and support each other. Here are some of the items you can find from the Amys in the Arts team. Enjoy having a look, and head over to the Amys blog to check out each of us individually!

Cold and Yucky Rain

It's been raining here in NoVA all day - cold, freezing, yucky rain. So I surrounded myself with fabric during Charis' nap, and made this little ditty - now in the shop! Enjoy! Amy

Tagline Poll

Friends, can I ask you to help a girl out with something? I've been thinking of adding a creative tag line to my business look. If you'll look to the right, you'll see a new poll. I've added a few versions of what I've been thinking about. Can you please take a moment and vote for your favorite? And if you can think of something even more clever, leave me a comment below!

Thanks for your help, Amy

Kiva - A Great Way to Give!

The Carried Away Bagmakers Team has started a new initiative for the Kiva organization. We are making bags, big and small, for the CABteam shop in the hopes of being able to support entrepreneurs in developing countries. To lend your support, please head over to the team shop and check out what is there you might like to pick up for yourself, or to give as a gift. Meanwhile you're helping someone take care of themselves and their family with hard work and dedication to their craft. These men and women want the same things we do, to be able to make a living and provide for their families - won't you help?

Happy Friday! Amy

Hello January!

Happy new year, everyone!
I've not even attempted to blog since just before Christmas, but now that 2010 is well under way, I'm back here at the SewArtsy blog. Thanks for dropping by!

I'm taking some time this January to make some organizational adjustments to SewArtsy. You may see some changes, and others you may not, but I'm here and working none-the-less.

If you're interested in what colors are in fashion this new year, take a look here to find what you should be sewing with this year to stay on top of the fashion trends.

May you enjoy a blessed 2010, filled with splendid colorfulness and craftiness! Amy
